Pastor Michael Bailey was born and raised on the west side of the city of Chicago where he was trained in the Prince of Peace Baptist Church. There he served as organist, junior deacon and representative of the organizations youth department.
At the age of 21 he was filled with the Holy Ghost and called to ministry. While under the leadership of Pastor D. Pritchett, (Way of Truth Holiness Church), he served as Co-pastor and Sunday school superintendent, and organized outreach ministries including: street, prison, and nursing homes.
In 1991 he joined the A.R.M., Church on the Rock, under the leadership of the late Dr. Angie Ray. He was appointed an Elder and received training in deliverance ministry, spiritual warfare, intercessory prayer, team evangelism, also served faithfully in a pastoral capacity.
Pastor Bailey started prayer meetings in his home along with Tonia his wife, and others. In April of 2006, Grace to Glory Ministries was founded. In just a short time the church has experienced a supernatural outpouring of God’s presence, along with exponential growth.
Pastor Bailey is a consecrated vessel revered for his compassion, he’s known for his unique anointing, and bold ministry style. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, his ministry is in great demand as a result of city and state wide evangelistic crusades and deliverance workshops.
Pastor Bailey also serves as a member of the International Federation of Christian Chaplains, with over 1000 chaplains in more than 35 countries.
Pastor Bailey and his wife Tonia have 3 children and reside in one of Chicago's southwest suburbs.
